Dutch Medical Companies Visit Japan

Exact Dynamics and Forcelink, two Dutch medical devices companies, visited Japan as participants in the EU-Gateway Healthcare and Medical Technologies Program from 21-25 May.

The two Dutch companies Exact Dynamics and Forcelink participated in the EU Gateway Programme Healthcare and Medical Technologies from May 21 till 25. The EU Gateway Programme organises and funds Business Missions in high technology and design sectors for European companies to develop their business in Japan and Korea.

Exact Dynamics and Forcelink used this opportunity to present new products for the Japanese market and meet with prospective business partners. Exact Dynamics is best known for the robotic manipulator it produces called the iArm. This product has been available on the Japanese market for several years. Exact Dynamics used the EU Gateway Mission to introduce a new product, called the Dynamic Arm Support or DAS.  

Forcelink produces high-end treadmills and several other systems which help to study and/or improve the human mobility and physical abilities. Their products facilitate in physical rehabilitation, sports training and support diagnosis in a quick and easy way by giving clear and objective output data.

Both companies generated interest among Japanese hospitals and medical device companies and it is expected that these products will be available on the Japanese market in the near future.
